Important: Nendry is a tool to help you assess whether content was AI-generated. It provides probability estimates, NOT certainty. Always verify important claims with multiple sources.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Nendry, the AI-detection service at nendry.com ("we", "our", or "us").

By installing or using the Nendry browser extension or accessing our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Nendry is a browser extension and web service that checks whether text, images, video, speech or documents were generated or altered by AI. The service includes:

AI-generated content detection across text, images, video, speech and documents
Optional page scan on Pro and Enterprise
Optional claim-check and live-transcript tools in the browser extension
Source-domain information when you ask for it

Scores are probability estimates. Document mode inspects the file you uploaded for tamper and re-save signals. It does not authenticate identity documents, invoices or certificates, and a clean result is not payment authorisation.

3. Important Disclaimers

3.1 Not 100% Accurate

Our analysis is NOT infallible. The scores we provide are probability estimates based on multiple detectors. They should be used as one input in your decision-making, not as proof that content is or is not AI-generated.

3.2 Detector Limitations

Detectors can miss new generators, compressed or forwarded media, short clips, and some face-swap or voice-clone cases. An inconclusive or human-leaning score is not a guarantee the content is authentic.

3.3 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis. Use at your own risk.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the service for lawful purposes only
Not attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service
Not use the service to harass, defame, or harm others
Not rely solely on our analysis for critical decisions
Verify important claims with multiple sources

5. Account Terms

If you create an account:

You must provide accurate information
You are responsible for maintaining account security
You must be at least 13 years old
One person or entity per account

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes limited checks (currently 1 full English text check a day, 3 document checks a day, 1 image or other-language check a month, and 1 video or voice check per month after sign-in). We reserve the right to modify free tier limits. When a free check is used up, we ask you to upgrade rather than returning a weaker scan.

6.2 Paid Plans

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
Payments are processed by Stripe
Prices may change with 30 days notice
No refunds for partial months, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise

6.3 Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Access continues until the end of your billing period. We do not refund unused days in the current period. For billing errors, contact support@nendry.com.

7. Intellectual Property

The Nendry service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our service without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We are not responsible for decisions you make based on our analysis
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
We are not liable for third-party content or services

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue features at any time
Update these terms with notice
Suspend accounts that violate these terms

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the courts of Oslo, Norway, and you and we each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, nothing in this section removes any right you have to bring proceedings in your country of residence, or any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of that country.
